Azulo ("the app") is a single-player tile-restoration puzzle game published by Electric Alpaca, a trading name of LIO SOFTWARE LTD ("we", "us"). LIO SOFTWARE LTD is the data controller for the information described below.

This policy explains what information the app handles and why. We have tried to keep Azulo's data footprint as small as possible.

We do not require an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, or device advertising identifier. Azulo contains no third-party advertising.

Information we handle

Anonymous gameplay analytics

To understand how the game is played and where players get stuck, Azulo records anonymous gameplay events (for example: a level was started, completed, or left; number of mistakes; whether the hint was used). These events are tagged with a random identifier that is generated on your device the first time you play and stored locally. This identifier is not linked to your real-world identity and we cannot use it to contact you. Analytics are processed by PostHog on servers in the European Union (eu.i.posthog.com).

Purchases

Azulo offers a one-time in-app purchase to unlock the full game. Purchases are processed entirely by Google Play (Android) or the Apple App Store (iOS). We receive only confirmation of whether the unlock was purchased — we never see or store your payment card, billing address, or other payment details.

Local game data

Your level progress, the unlock status, and game settings are stored only on your device. This data is not transmitted to us and is removed if you uninstall the app or clear its data.

How we use this information

• To measure overall engagement and improve level design and difficulty.
• To grant access to content you have purchased.
• To diagnose problems and improve the app.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.

Third-party services

These providers process data under their own privacy policies. Google and Apple may collect additional information as part of operating their stores and payment systems; please refer to their policies.

Data retention

Anonymous analytics events are retained by our analytics provider for as long as needed to understand product trends, after which they are deleted or aggregated.

Local game data remains on your device until you delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the EU/UK GDPR or the California CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete information relating to you, or to object to its processing.

Because Azulo's analytics are anonymous and not tied to your identity, we generally cannot single out your individual records. If you would like analytics collection associated with your device to stop, you can uninstall the app, which ends all event collection. Children's privacy

Azulo is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under the age required for consent in your country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will address it.

Security

We use reputable service providers and reasonable technical measures to protect the limited data we handle. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, within the app or store listing.
